The Catholic Church did plenty of dirty work. (I've been spending a few hours researching heresy and various permutations of burning at the stake). Again, the real question here is Wikileaks increasingly glaring bias problems. The point isn't that Wikileaks have falsified information concerning real evils done by the US. It's that they've been conspicuously, and I have to say, having dug deeper, INEXCUSABLY quiet (if not silent) on the activities of others. I absolutely grant that the US is, by virtue of its power and capabilities, deserving of extreme scruitiny. What we're looking at goes beyond that. Wikileaks has a credibility and bias problem. The more so as its actions now appear petty and vengeful based on personal animus between Assange and Clinton. And yes, Wikileaks are actively soliciting leaks -- against Britain's Labour party: https://wikileaks.org/WikiLeaks-offers-award-for-LabourLeaks... But not on Russia. Or China. Or Syria. Or North Korea. Or Venezuela. Or Marie le Pen. Or Rupert Murdoch. (So far as I am aware.) |
