The problem with universities is that there are so few excellent ones that we don't get any of them competing on price. Every year tutition increases more than the rate of inflation. This can't continue forever. People think they need to pay $50k/year for an NYU education because the smaller, cheaper one located [insert your town] isn't nearly as good. |
