I work for a small satellite ISP, ViaSat (d/b/a Exede). Part of my job is data security specifically for this type of information. We've had it in our privacy policy since Day 1 back in 2012 that we don't give or sell this data to anyone who doesn't actually need it, and certainly not to advertisers.
