Founding all knowledge on the scientific method is just vulgar empiricism, and it's known to have it's limits, and philosophy isn't just "emotions", since science is part of philosophy itself (asking and answering questions about the world, Truth, etc.) This comic shows the limits of empiricism nicely: http://existentialcomics.com/comic/132 |
