Irrelevant. If you say you'll build me a website for $100, and I in turn contract that out to some guy in India, I'm still required to charge you $100 + $5 GST. The fact that I didn't use an employee to provide the service is of no issue. It's right to close the loophole that really should never have existed in the first place, if not for industry lobbyists. |
