I don't think there is any evidence of it being racist. It juts seems more like incompetence to me. Him being male would probably be more relevant, but it's far more likely for men to commit this crime either way, so it's not reasonable to suspect him more highly. |

This is why it's wrong to just blindly rely on statistics to tell you who to arrest. Prejudice has no place in law enforcement.
