I don't believe we will ever move away from JavaScript. Remember GWT? It's Google's pseudo WebAssembly built at the height of Java's popularity. It compiles your Java code into JavaScript and optimize accordingly to each browser. A few companies bet heavily on this technology, Workday is one. No, it did not catch on. |
