The problem is businesses will start including ASICs that don't really need to be there because they can effectively make the device unrepairable to anyone on the outside. Though I'm not sure making unrepairable equipment is a good business strategy: Once you get the reputation of gouging your customers on repairs your top line will start to sag. |
