While I find it reasonable, I would still not ask about vecation policies in the interview, but rather when they decided they want me and we go through the details. Why would you ask before? (honest question)

If asking about vacation policies makes them doubt your working morale I would recommend to run quickly. Is asking for money offensive to them too?

It just came to my mind that I'm spoiled by the german vacation standards. It probably makes a lot more sense elsewhere.
