agreed, 100%. I used to be a GUI diehard. Then, I was told about emacs and became an emacs fanatic. But the difference between emacs and vi/vim is that you can count on vim not only being on any system anywhere, but behaving in almost the exact same way anywhere. vim is timeless. |
