Absolutely agree. I find myself frustrated with using iOS Safari when opening a tab in the background - the animation has to finish before I can resume browsing the current page. I also frequently think back to the OS we had on the Nokia 3310 generation of phones; how easy it was to navigate to exactly what you needed (with shortcuts like menu button > keypad 3 > keypad 2 or something like that). There were no animations to slow down that navigation either. |
