The article makes as much sense if you understand "boomers" means "Americans". The article was intentionally inflammatory and makes sweeping generalizations, and seems mostly to be a venue for the author to air his prejudices. Would classify as "screed" (definition 1c in Merriam-Webster: a ranting piece of writing). |
