OS X, 2 monitors. 8 Terminal windows, 2 fullscreen MacVim windows (with vim running the NERDTree and Buffer Explorer plugins). I do all my Java/Flex/Ruby/Python development like that, and I think it works great. I've written code generators to give me Java or Flex classes as needed, without having to write much boilerplate. Just do what feels most comfortable, and make small changes as needed to make it better. |
