AMD just launched a new interconnect, so it could be a while before motherboard makers start cranking them out. http://wccftech.com/amds-infinity-fabric-detailed/

The dual/multi-socket platform(s) are a way off. AMD is focussing on the desktop to launch Zen, in contrast to what they did with Barcelona (iirc).
