Ask HN: How often do candidates you rate as “hire” or “strong hire” get an offer

Most companies have 1-2 phone screens and 4-5 onsite interviews before giving an offer to a software engineer. When you walk into an interview debrief and say "hire" or "strong hire", how often do those candidates get an offer? Is it 20% of the candidates? or 80%? or 50%? Essentially, how often is there consensus once you say "hire" or "strong hire"
