When I see these allegations, I often wonder if we are looking at it from the wrong side. Yes, someone black might be getting paid $10K/less on average. The question is, do they have the same amount of education and experience as their non-black counterpart? If not, then we need to figure out why there aren't as many qualified black candidates. Instead, the answer seems to just have a quota of black applications, which really doesn't help anyone. |
