Sometimes I feel that a well-publicized hiring binge usually precipitates a layoff. I've seen it happen enough times that it makes me skeptical when I hear terms like "explosive growth". Over the years I've had recruiters from Theranos to DraftKings contact me, both with the spiel of "unlimited growth", and we all know how those went. :/ |
