Wake up naturally, no alarm clock. 7ish in winter, 6ish in summer. Shower and think about the work days problems. Drive to work, picking breakfast up on way. In the summer, I bike to work a few days a week. Work on mentally challenging stuff and try to ignore email until lunch. Eat lunch in my office (takeout) or go out to lunch with a friend. After lunch, read email, write clients back, sometimes take a nap. Then work until dinner time and go home. (I'm a software developer, consultant/contractor.) |
