Suboxone and buprenorphine are the same thing. Yes, I know the manufacturer claims they're different, and the naloxone in Suboxone performs a function, but it really doesn't other than extending the patent lifetime. Buprenorphine itself is a partial agonist, and will cause precipitated withdrawal like they claim the naloxone is for just fine by itself, since it has a very strong affinity and low-medium intrinsic activity, thus ejecting lower affinity opioids like heroin from opioid receptors.
