The difference is that I can't access Netflix content after the end of my subscription. With your model I could pay for a month, load as much as I can and watch for the next 6 months. Repeat as necessary. I'd enjoy a way _to buy_ not DRMed, high quality digital movies. But I don't have any illusions that a subscription model is feasible without DRM. |
