>I don't understand those that think boxing out Russia and China from the rest of Europe and Asia is a good thing. The idea is that if you can connect the economies of small regional powers (Korea, Japan, Vietnam or Poland, Romania, Hungary) more than they're connected to the regional hegemon, and you connect those powers to the US, then you will have a balance of power in the region that makes war impossible. |
