"Common sense" maybe shouldn't be trusted if it's leading you to silly conclusions. The Dems lost the Presidency, as well, even though nearly 3 million more people voted for the Democratic Party candidate than the winning one. Plenty of things that are "common sense" don't pan out once you throw in gerrymandering and voter turnout. |
