"Statisticians" taught everyone NHST, and relegated bayesian probability to the appendix for decades. Once you realize what has happened there, you will view that title with very little respect. I am glad to see machine learning, ai, "data science", whatever, grow as a separate field. The statistics programs had their chance. |
