"Killing Chrome Apps" is actually a good thing, at least for the an open web. It means, that apps on the web are supposed to be on the web and not packaged in the browser. Google has said that this was a temporary measure. Essentially, for those apps or websites it shouldn't matter if they run in Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox. |
