Wow. I was using CarbonEmacs 22.3 till now, so I'm not sure if it's the switch from CarbonEmacs or just v23, but startup is about 1-2 seconds now instead of 5-10 (2ghz Core Duo "Yonah"). Either way, I'm sold!
