I think there's room for discourse in this area TBQH. There are many alternative terms that would communicate the purpose of the framework and its class members just as well, if not better than something with 'slave' or 'enslave' in the name. Especially if you want to potentially attract adoption among users who might have ancestors who were enslaved, and also incidentally have a harder time getting a job in tech. I know I for one would like to use a software package that doesn't also remind me of a painful memory.
I have family in Suriname. They would laugh in your face for this argument. Shit happened, we're past it. Pretending it never happened and erasing anything that could "trigger" someone is the wrong way to deal with the shit that happens in life.
