I know that feeling. Big companies are a scam. The good thing is: there is a lot of start-ups in Paris, many of them with open positions. It's not that hard to find a place to work in Paris, it's hard for employers to find good candidates. I've spent most of the year looking for developers at Streamroot [1] and we struggled to have applicants. We hired 5 persons in the first 6 month of the year and still have a lot of open positions.
