Programming/Tech: 9. I really enjoy working in the field. My dissatisfaction comes from Employment: 5. I am in consulting...I don't think it is for me. My opinion is often ignored. I don't get to explore what I want, and am often considered "staff aug". I have nearly a decade in start-ups. I miss that. I think my next gig will be a remote one - start-up or not. I was on a contract where I was able to work remote for a year. It was the best schedule for me. Being able to eat lunch with my family, start/finish early, no traffic. It was great. Did I mention there was no traffic! :) |
