8 - I'm a junior developer working mostly with Angular.js and (previously) RoR. I love doing low-level things like solving a tiny problem, but I sometimes wish I was doing something more science-y than front-end development. I also miss my artistic side (I don't do web design as part of my job) and I would easily switch jobs if I could work for a more art-oriented or creative tech startup. The reason I often doubt whether software development is my true calling is because I don't like concentrating on just one thing in my life. Work-life balance could be better, for that matter :) |
