That was true for the Skylake XPS machines. The new Kaby Lake machines, sold with either Windows or Ubuntu, all use the "Killer" Qualcomm Atheros chip. There's also more configurations to pick from with Windows, so it's not a bad idea if you're comfortable installing Ubuntu by yourself. |
