Denmark's corporate tax rates don't appear to be that high. Their nominal tax rate is lower than the US tax rate. US corporate tax rates were once 52%, and it was in that context as well as very high income tax rates on top earners (i.e., the business elite) that this argument appeared to have generally been made. |
