Yes. 1. There are some edge cases where it is still useful and it would be way more painful to reimplement it in vanilla js (though maybe still possible). But in these edge cases why bother when: 2. In any largish project invariably _something_ will require jquery. Think Bootstrap or some widget library the boss/users absolutely want or something some "UI" person built themselves. |
