Maybe spreading the idea of "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" rather than creating generations of people who need safe spaces and crumble at the smallest unpleasant thought would work better than trying to curb an element of human behavior that has gone on forever and will continue to go on (unfortunately) for a long time. |
