To sum up everything in this thread: Life becomes less appealing as you get older. You lose friends because "career" and "kids" and "my wife would not agree to this". The novelty and wonderment of being a child is LONG GONE, ie. your brain oxytocin, serotonin and β-endorphin receptors are all but ERADICATED from the grudges of the mundanity of your boring 9 to 5 suburban lifestyle. No time for friends and riding bikes and adventures in the forest and first-kisses under the tree and kickball, those TPS reports need to be finished as soon as possible. You are a walking zombie; living in a biological sense, but not really living. Do not fret because your life is nearing it's end surely but slowly; cell stress, telometre shortening and calcium disposition within collagen has you taking an aged "old-person" appearance as you are scientifically dying from the inside-out as the seconds on the clock tick and tock and by the way is Docker or Vagrant better for deploying a NodeJS + MongoDB app?

Completely on the contrary. As someone with a wife and kids, suburban home, a tech job and similar decisions to make (react or anguar2). Never in my life I had so many opportunities to do fun things but I simply changed my preferences. I still like riding bikes and hiking and hanging out with friends (both couples with kids and just guys night out) however, I much more enjoy alone and quiet time than before. Reading, taking a Coursera course, hooking into my htc vive, finally learning the guitar solo from the wall part 2, learning to read music notes and play the piano. I feel much happier now than in my childhood. I have more friends than I have time for. And much less urge for company. I feel perfectly fine with just my family singing me "Happy birthday".
Yeah, but do you have anything negative to say?
Sounds like you would benefit from an Ayahuasca retreat or weekend on LSD. It gives you a new perspective on your life and also helps most people who are open to the possibility realise there is a lot more to discover.

If you are under 1000 years old, I'm sure you've only scratched the surface.

Vagrant is for development, not production, silly goose!
Beg to differ. Priorities change. "Kids" are an absolute life highlight, and come above pretty much everything else.
For you.
