I think you have to distinguish between Peak Oil (point in time where there is the maximum rate of extraction) and "Peak Demand", which is what the article is about. Furthermore, Shell is actually well-known for its effective foresight activities (particularly in the 70s). Maybe because they switched from forecast to foresight... |
