I keep it sync on a virtual Server with sftp, where i Upload the db, sshfs to Mount it - the Directory which contains the Database, localy on Linux, or easySSHFS on Android.

To Set this up i need for every new device around... 10 minutes

It isn't THAT hard. Im pretty sure there is a dropbox(or $urCloudProvider) App that Can sync your files too :-)

What about backup or if your encrypted password store get corrupted? It's actually not that unlikely if you open the file on many devices at the same time. Do you have history of the password store file you can go roll back to? Can you trust the VPS provider?

It's not as straightforward as you assume,now apply it to non-devs.
