Can we agree that birth control of all kinds has a long way to go? Both men & women should have the option to be in control of their reproductive rights. Neither men nor women deserve to experience serious side effects from the exercise of those rights. Some lucky folks can take hormones with very little effects. I (F) have had very negative experiences with hormonal birth control, I'd be bummed for anyone else to go through it. |

There aren't any actual 'hormones' in birth control. These drugs are supposedly hormone-analogues, but they are only partial replacements for genuine ("bio-identical") hormones.
