It's a criticism common to most future tech, not just the hyperloop. For example, there was lots of hang-wringing over Fusion power back in the 1970's, about how if the bureaucrats would just give it more funding then it would happen: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ab/U.S._his... I'm not saying any of this tech is without merit, just that it's common to need buy-in from many organizations to make it happen. |
