Or swap escape and caps lock. My keyboard supports macros, so I swapped them on one of the macro layers and never looked back.

If anyone of you needs to remap keys on a Mac in software, I can recommend https://github.com/tekezo/Karabiner-Elements. I use it myself to remap Caps Lock to Esc.
