I don't understand your mode/reaction/resynchronization point at all.
Does this vocabulary of calling our personal preferences a "model" and something we dislike a "violation of our model" actually buy us anything?
What if you knew that there were predators about?

I don't think all anger is about models being violated, but if you said that some or even most (in the modern world) is I might better see where you're coming from.
