The argument that someone was wrong about something once and thus should no longer be listened to about anything is both pervasive and dangerous.

Nyt hasn't distorted the facts to political ends just once.
That's true; Walter Duranty's Pulitzer-winning reports of the Soviet Union for the NYT certainly come to mind. That doesn't stop a broken clock from being right twice a day.

That said, all we have here is a prominent blowhard railing against a publication that favors his opponent. Not really meaty HN-worthy material, IMO.
