I'm the other way around, never been remotely interested in game programming I actually like solving 'boring' business use cases. It's half programming and half process optimization, it's amazing (unless you work in those places) just how inefficient a process can be before you automate it (I sometimes think that the process of automating a manual process is like when the rewrite is much better in a different language because all the edge cases are known from the first one). |
