I am co-moderator of a Donate your unused stuff group on FB. The amount of spam users get is unbelievable, and we've to weed out responses like every few hours. But the most disturbing fact is the harassment the women get on the group. As soon as some woman posts something, she's almost guaranteed to get nasty messages with disturbing content. And these are from verified users who've active FB profiles. Unless FB weeds out the spammers and the harassing, this is just another way to make quick bucks for FB. |
