Very old joke, but one I've always found amusing: "What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. What do you call someone who speaks two languages? Bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks one language? American!" (And as an American who spent a few years overseas teaching English, that is _so_ true :) ) |
