I haven't installed yet as I'm just waiting for a current backup to complete. However, generally you have to run the command below after every OS update since El Cap.

sudo chown -R $(whoami) /usr/local

how disappointing... everything is working fine, even stuff installed by macports.. the only thing that doesn't works is the port command itself
