The article did not discuss the advantages that my cat(s) obtain from not being crushed beneath the wheels of passing traffic on a more regular basis. [note to purists: "our cats" are kept strictly inside, but there are stray cats that we feed, and have survived for many years without auto crushing on a cul-de-sac].
