Find a mentor (gray beard) someone who has been around in the industry for at least 7-10 years professionally.
Ask them questions about everything.
Then get them to interview you in person and whiteboard. Everyone hates whiteboards but that's what the big 4 do and they aren't really ever going to stop so the more practice with your mentor the better. I prefer companies that give code challenges that you work on and then discuss your decisions and thought process on solving the problem. |
