Thanks for you feedback jack9, maybe I haven't made myself clear enough. I think the reason we aren't writing client code in Python yet is at least partially explained later in the article. Even if all browser vendors decided to adopt a new language (say Python) we would still have to support all the older versions around. That's why WebAssebmly is such a great innovation: there's one single compilation target and we can write code in any language suits our needs. |
