That's what I'm afraid of. Rarely is the correct answer to a technological threat vector these days "let the law handle it." In this case it's even worse because of the real world problems that can and do happen when it comes to radio systems combined with the implementation of a life critical system. Look at the Evanston key fob incident as just one example.
