I believe SVM>ANN might be true if the classification task is relatively simple. Most of the state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms are based on ANNs, though (just as an example). Do you think SVMs will catch up in those areas? (I upvoted you even though I don't agree with you, just thought getting greyed out was excessive) |
